About Erin Limburg

Erin Limburg LMT

Even from a young age, I loved massage. Sensitive and empathetic, I could often sense others’ emotions. If someone acted happy outside but was actually sad deep inside, I always knew. I soon discovered that a foot massage had the power to shift somebody’s heavy mood into a happier one. I guess I was a weird kid, always rubbing people’s feet! But my mom always loved it after a hard day at work, and it actually brought joy to my heart to make people feel better.

Unfortunately, due to black mold in my house, I was often sick and ended up with severe lung damage over the course of my childhood. This is what led me down the path of alternative health.

When I left home and headed to San Diego at 18, I found freedom, growth and holistic remedies for my condition. No more steroids. No more side effects. I experimented with acupuncture, herbs and massage. Every little bit helped. I then found my true calling and received my massage training and certification from the Mueller College of Holistic Studies in San Diego, California in 2002. I have been practicing ever since and participate in continuing education (1000 hours).

Today I am a healthy and grateful wife and mother of two. I believe in the power of kindness and care, I’ve never had a cup of coffee (seriously), I love to camp, and my favorite food in the world is a carne asada burrito from Taco Fiesta, a dive in San Diego that’s open 24 hours. We all have our weaknesses!
